Malicious - Take Care (This is REAL)

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

At ExtraTorrent.com we try to inform you of what helps you get the best out of using your computer system in relation with our site.

What you are about to read is quite disturbing and people actually do this, causing other computer users to loose data, ruin systems and even businesses.

Computer users who are out to ruin computer systems could send you an E-mail with the subject of “your Online Life is Not Private”.

So you open up the E-mail and it reads:
QUOTE
“Do you trade files online? Then they will come after you. Search the news for RIAA and see what they are doing to people like you. Tor eliminates the trail that leads to you. Use this software to protect your privacy and your right to use the net. Download Tor [URL removed]” we removed the link for security (this is real)
The link lead to a malware infested version of the file sharing app Tor, do not follow the link or download any files from that site!

The Condemned

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

This is the DVD Rip of The Condemned. Version 2007.

There’s been plenty of poor versions of this, but this is a decent version,
reviews of it haven’t been that great, but everybody has different opinions.

Plot: An adrenalin-charged action thriller, “The Condemned” tells the story of Jack Conrad, who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is “purchased” by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.

FaceBook opens to the Public

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

FaceBook, Bebo and MySpace are all social networks, with millions of members of the public submitting their private information to the networks stated.

This information can range from where you live to what hobbies you love doing, including your private blogs, photos and maybe even telephone numbers.

FaceBook has announced it’s opening up details of members world wide and everyone within it to the general public.

Bebo operate in much the same way - but here’s the catch - you have to register with Bebo before you can view anybody’s profile.

FaceBook will (reportedly) allow ANYBODY to view profiles without registration, so in some cases members of FaceBook might be electronically abused, but there’s no way of tracking the abuser as they have not registered with the site.
