This is a fairly recent release of Walt Disney’s animated fairy tale meets modern, live-action comedy.
The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magic animated land she finds herself in the gritty streets of Manhattan.
It is a very fast moving film as well, before I had seen it I didn’t know it was a mixture of fairy-tale and modern day, when it goes between the two it really is pretty neat. magic infact!

Warning:- this post does contain the films Goofs, this may spoil the film.

Plot Outline
A classic Disney fairytale collides with modern-day New York City in a story about a fairytale princess who is sent to our world by an evil queen.
Soon after her arrival, Princess Giselle begins to change her views on life and love after meeting a handsome lawyer. Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?
Goofs:
- Continuity: In the taxi cab in the beginning of the movie, the collar of Robert’s overcoat is tucked under the seat belt strap one moment, then resting over it, then tucked under it again a moment later.
- Errors in geography: Robert’s office is supposed to be in the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle. However, the Lipstick Building, located on Third Avenue at 53rd Street, is seen across the street from a window.
- Continuity: During the scene in the Italian restaurant, as Robert and Giselle are sitting at the table talking, Robert’s hair keeps changing between shots.
- Continuity: After placing the rose on the statue of Edward in the woodland cottage, it disappears and reappears in subsequent shots.
- Continuity: When Nancy arrives at Robert’s apartment to find Giselle there, Robert is in need of a shave. When he chases after Nancy as she leaves the building and gets into a taxi, he is clean shaven then when he returns to the apartment he has considerable beard growth again.
- Continuity: Towards the end of the big musical number in Central Park, Robert’s Phone rings while he’s sitting in the carriage. In the long shot he clearly reaches into his pocket and removes the phone, then in the close up he does the same thing again.
- Errors made by characters The Prince has, obviously, never used a TV before. Yet he has no difficulty whatsoever knowing how to use the remote control. Most obvious example is when Nathaniel tells him to change the channel back, and he is able to do it with no difficulty.
- Continuity: Giselle rides the subway from Times Square to the Bowery, and Edward gets lunch in a deli–yet neither has any money.
