Storm Warning
I was asked to do a write up on Wolf Creek, but I found this, which is a new horror.
This Australian movie is brought to you by the same producers who brought you Wolf Creek and Urban Legend
“Storm Warning” begins slowly with our two main characters out fishing on their boat. They soon become lost on their way home and end up on a small island as rain clouds fill the sky above. Once they discover a seemingly abandoned house and the storm arrives, all hell then breaks loose.
Storm Warning” manages to combine elements from movies such as “Deliverance” and “Straw Dogs” to create something that is scary, gory and even funny at times.
Despite being directed by the same man behind such awful movies as “Valentine”, it’s one of the better horror movies.
Yes, it’s not original but it’s unsettling, well-acted, very gory in places and ultimately fun.
Warning:- this post doesn’t contain the films Goofs.

A yuppie couple lost in a swamp seek refuge at an isolated farmhouse only to discover they’ve jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.
Plot Outline
On a weekend boating excursion, husband and wife, Rob and Pia become lost in a heavy storm and end up in the most unlikely place; a desolate swamp surrounded by thick forest.
With their boat in disarray their only solution is to look for help or seek shelter of some kind. They finally come across a decrepit house and barn with no one home.
However, there are definite signs of the house being inhabited, and the enormous crop of marijuana in the barn suggests the homeowners may not welcome their presence.
Even worse, there is no telephone or means of communication to the outside world.
