It’s puzzling in that the movie trailers appear more polished than the actual movie or “Hitman” is resourcefully produced on a medium budget?
Some of the action sequences in “Hitman” are breathtaking.
There is the automatic weapons orchestrated mayhem in the Russian night club.
The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover.
Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe, trying to find out who set him up and why they are trying to take him out of the game.
But the greatest threat to 47’s survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl…always a girl involved

Plot Outline
A gun-for-hire known only as Agent 47 hired by a group known only as ‘The Agency’ is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe.
Goofs
- Errors in geography: During the movie the teletype text says, “Russian Border — Turkey” This film takes place during modern time and Turkey does not border Russia. It borders the Republic of Georgia.
- Continuity: Near the end of the film, when FSR detective Mike Whittier is sitting in the ambulance, his shirt is open, he then is shown to be buttoning it closed, but in the next shot (from far away) his shirt is still completely open. In the next shot, from up close as he stands his shirt is completely buttoned closed again.
- Continuity: With the Interpol agents coming down from the private plane, you can hear the engines powering down but when you look at the jet turbines, you don’t see them moving at all.
- Factual errors: Since the movie is filmed in Bulgaria, many road signs are in Bulgarian, not Russian.
- Factual errors: The initials “FSB” on the backs of FSB agents are incorrect. Neither of these three letters means the same sound in Cyrillic.
- Continuity: Throughout the first few scenes Nika is in, her makeup is smeared. After 47 lets her out of the trunk and gives her her breakfast sandwich, her makeup is suddenly flawless, and she has much less on.
- Revealing mistakes: During the train fight scene with the other hit men, when they all drop their mags out, you can see blank shells loaded instead of real ammo.
- Continuity: We see early in the movie that Inspector Mike Whittier does not speak Russian as his partner Jenkins translates throughout the film for him. Yet when they are listening in on the conversation inside the FSB Office with the planted bug, Mike apparently now speaks fluent Russian as he understands the conversation without any help.
- Factual errors: Near the end of the movie, the postbox has cyrillic writing on it, meant to be “POST” in Russian but is spelled absolutely wrong, and doesn’t mean anything in Russian. Writing is “posha”, instead of “potchta”. Also, Russian mailboxes don’t have Latin alternatives written on them.
