When it started up I was immediately sucked in, and I never became uninterested and it never stopped entertaining, because they did an excellent job at keeping your attention.
There were some parts in the movie where I felt as if they tried too hard to please the audience and then others it got a little dumb and boring, but overall I laughed I almost cried and when it was over I wanted to watch it again. 
It’s a great sequel to a great movie and I enjoyed watching it as much as the first.
It’s fantastic , you must see it.
The sequel of the first movie, the New York Zoo Animals, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo, still stranded on Madagascar, started to leave the island.
All of a sudden, they landed in the wilderness of Africa.

- Continuity: The birthmark on Alex’s paw appears and disappears between shots.
- Continuity: During the scene where they are flying home, Gloria [the hippo] is sleeping, then the penguins announce that they will be landing shortly. Gloria is all of a sudden awake, and ‘high fives’ Alex [the lion], then immediately after the penguins announce they are crash landing, Gloria is back to sleeping.
