This is a new horror it is totally magic, the direction of some scenes involving long dark corridors, doors slamming shut with pretty neat sound effects mixed with music all blends in.
One of the best horrors to be released so far!
Kiefier Sutherland is a ex NY cop battling sinister forces in mirrors that endanger both him and his family.
The movie opens with a terrified night watchman running for his life.
From what, we don’t know, until he begs forgiveness from a mirror for trying to escape.
The mirror cracks angrily in response . . .
enjoy!

Goofs
- Revealing mistakes: At the end of the movie, when Ben Carson starts noticing everything is backwards (text, his wound on the wrong hand, etc.) just like in a mirror’s reflection, all the cars on the street he crosses are still driving on the right. In a mirror, they should all appear to be driving on the left.
- Factual errors: In the beginning of the movie it was clearly stated that there was no electricity in the burned out store, however, in the scene where Ben Carson is supposedly in the basement breaking a hole in the wall, the florescent ceiling lights are on. There is also a close up shot of an incandescent bulb flickering on and off. How could that be if there is no electricity in the building?
- Continuity: When Ben is firing his sidearm into the mirror, the second set of rounds he fires (6) does not match the second set of bullet holes in the mirror (2). Given the speed at which the mirror originally ‘healed’ itself, it is unlikely that four of the holes had sealed over in the brief period between firing and when we see them.
- Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Larry Byrne pulls the plug to empty the bath containing Angela Carson’s body, he puts on a latex glove only to put his hand so far into the bloody water that the glove would be filled.
- Plot holes: Near the beginning, Ben puts his left hand on the mirror and suddenly there’s this large bloody gash across his palm. Then, he gets up and the blood and slash is gone. He catches on imaginary fire, it goes out, his hand is still okay…but when he gets home, suddenly the hand is all bloody and cut to ribbons again.
- Continuity: To continue from the point about Ben’s cut hand, he dusts himself down after the fire scene and rubs his shirt down to check he isn’t burned. If he was rubbing a clean white shirt, with a bleeding hand (which isn’t bandaged yet) then surely he’d wipe blood all over his shirt, but he doesn’t.
- Revealing mistakes: In the scene where Ben hands the photo of his family to Anna – a nun – you can clearly see that she is wearing a wedding ring.
- Revealing mistakes: When Angela Carson dies, Ben Carson goes see her body and is holding on to her hand. When he lets go of her hand, you can easily see her fingers in the corner of the screen moving.
- Revealing mistakes: The scene where Angela’s jaws are ripped off and she is struggling in the bathtub you can clearly see her white loin-cloth. She went into the bathtub naked.
