Very likable characters, believable character growth, Excellent actors, Excellent writing.
The movie description keeps referencing “road trip” but felt like it was sort of a road trip pitstop movie.
Meaning… There’s these two guys, they go on a road trip, but then they have to stop at a small town for a few days and that’s where the majority of the film takes place.
I’m not sure why Lacy Chabert is credited so highly in the movie because she’s in it for all of 2 minutes.
But Brooke Nevin is in it and she was pretty damn awesome. nice!!
Having followed his girlfriend out to California’s Wine Country for the summer, Yale law student Sherman finds himself dumped, and cut off from his high-society mother’s money.
A stranger stranded in a strange land, Sherman finds himself hitching a ride with Palmer, a washed-up, unapologetically eccentric Olympic athlete.
The journey holds many funny and unexpected detours along the way, including the possibility of an enlightening girlfriend, an encounter with a gun-wielding gourmet chef and a chance for the former athlete to be on top again.
super!
