Bruno will either drive you into hysterics, or will horrify and shock you.
The comedy is brilliant, and while it is shocking you cannot help but laugh.
It balances wincing with embarrassment with shock humour to perfection.
It’s an incredibly funny movie with so many memorable lines and scenes that are just hilarious.
The only gripe with it is the length of the film which is both a blessing and a curse for the final cut.
But when a movie is this funny, how can you really criticise it for not falling into many comedies traps?
Overall Bruno is a must see of this summer, which so far seems to be lacking in many quality movies.
Anyway if you want a short, sharp, shock, but a funny shock, of a movie then Bruno is definitely for you.
Just don’t watch with your parents!
Borat trickster Sacha Baron Cohen returns to the big screen to offer yet another stinging dose of sociopolitical satire in this comedy that finds him assuming the persona of gay fashionmonger Bruno, the self-proclaimed “voice of Austrian youth TV.â€
Originally conceived as part of Cohen’s cult television series Da Ali G Show, the character of Bruno offered a cleverly costumed Cohen the opportunity to highlight the absurdities of the fashion industry by interviewing unsuspecting fashion icons and other haute couture hangers-on.
enjoy!
