Hitman

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

It’s puzzling in that the movie trailers appear more polished than the actual movie or “Hitman” is resourcefully produced on a medium budget?

Some of the action sequences in “Hitman” are breathtaking.

There is the automatic weapons orchestrated mayhem in the Russian night club.

The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover.

Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe, trying to find out who set him up and why they are trying to take him out of the game.

But the greatest threat to 47’s survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl…always a girl involved :)

Plot: When a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, an international incident is ignited.

While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury quickly assembles an elite team and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing.

Upon landing in the desert kingdom, however, Fleury and his team discover Saudi authorities suspicious and unwelcoming of American interlopers into what they consider a local matter.

Hamstrung by protocol-and with the clock ticking on their five days-the FBI agents find their expertise worthless without the trust of their Saudi counterparts, who want to locate the terrorist in their homeland on their own terms.

Fleury’s crew finds a like-minded partner in Saudi Colonel Al-Ghazi, who helps them navigate royal politics and unlock the secrets of the crime scene and the workings of an extremist cell bent on further destruction.

Plot: Following the adventures of a young man who sets out on a quest to prove his love, and finds far more than he bargained for, “Stardust” takes on every fairy tale in which anyone ever wanted to believe.

It is here that young Tristan Thorne (CHARLIE COX) makes a wild-eyed promise to the prettiest girl in the village (SIENNA MILLER), whose heart he hopes to win: that he will bring her back a fallen star.

But in order to make good on his promise, Tristan will have to cross the forbidden wall, and enter a mysterious kingdom lit by unending magic and unfolding legends of which he will quickly become a part.
