Actor Dies at 57

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

This is a small post out of respect…

Actor Patrick Swayze, who attained heartthrob status in the movies Dirty Dancing and Ghost, died on Monday 14th September after a long battle with pancreatic cancer; he was 57.

The star revealed in March of 2008 that he was suffering from the deadly form of cancer, but continued working on the A&E series The Beast, and remained optimistic in interviews and on the set during his treatment.

Swayze is survived by his wife Lisa Niemi, whom he married in 1975.

Prison Break fans, there’s really no easy way to say this so we’ll just take a very direct approach: Prison Break is coming to an end…soon.

Fox today announced the series will be ending at the conclusion of this season.

Prison Break is currently on a little vacation, as Fox beefs up its midseason schedule with the aforementioned trio and a little program called American Idol.

However, Fox did schedule a return for the final episodes of Prison Break–they begin their run April 17.

Before fans organize a save-the-show campaign complete with an assault of freshly shaven hair and teabags, consider this: Prison Break was originally conceived as a one-season show or mini-series, but instead was stretched out to four full seasons.

Well Prison Breakers, do you agree with Fox’s Reilly?

Did the show run out of gas?

Who will you miss most when the screen goes dark?

have fun! ;) magic

Jason - Friday the 13th!

Saturday, October 13th, 2007

As a horror movie fan and with the remake of Halloween, I’m hoping someone will write and direct another Jason movie, one of the best I seen was Jason X, its a totally different format to other horror movies, including previous releases of Jason films :)

Just my personal view.

Any directors reading this, make another Jason film, they are terrific!!

Movie News!

Monday, September 24th, 2007

This is an interesting read if you are waiting to hear of any sequels to be produced or just movie news in general.

Remake of Escape to New York!!

Neal Moritz will produce and Ken Nolan will write the screenplay which will combine an original story for Plissken with the story from the 1981 movie, although Carpenter has hinted that the film might be a prequel.

Kurt Russell did an incredible job, and it would be fun to see someone else try.

I do think that character was quintessentially one thing. And that is, American.” Variety magazine reported that Len Wiseman will direct the film.

World of Warcraft THE MOVIE.
There are plans though, so maybe some day this movie will be shown in theaters near you.

Venom will get its own spin-off movie though no further information is available at this moment.

Condemned (game)
Tarsem Singh, last seen in the Hollywood studio system with 2000 Jennifer Lopez vehicle The Cell, is attached to direct The Unforgettable, the film adaptation of Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Previously known as Species X, The Unforgettable is expected to follow the plot of the Xbox 360 launch title, which found a detective stumbling into the supernatural over the course of a criminal investigation.

Warner Bros. Pictures is behind the adaptation, with David Goyer, Basil Iwanyk, and Monolith Productions co-founder Jason Hall set to produce. Hall co-created the original game concept with Nathan Hendrickson.

Kurt Sutter, writer/producer of several episodes of FX series The Shield, penned the script.

A Crank sequel

“There will be a sequel to Crank yes. Prepare to Crank again,” Taylor told the site. “And you know the ‘is it a sequel or prequel’ question… IT’S A SEQUEL. We’re not selling out and going prequel. We are picking up where the last movie left off.”

There is a sequel planned, if its like the first one - it will be a definate hit amongst all movie fans!! I will update you later on this.
